1525L 15" LCD Desktop Touchmonitor with Integrated Magnetic
Stripe Reader
Elo announces
its new 1525L
15" LCD desktop touchmonitor with an integrated three-stripe
magnetic stripe reader (MSR). The new monitor—an enhanced
version of Elo's popular 1525L 15" LCD desktop touchmonitor—is
available with a USB or serial connection for use with AccuTouch
and IntelliTouch touch technologies. Unlike the card-swipe feature
used on many other monitors, Elo's MSR does not look like a tacked-on
afterthought. Our integration of both the MSR and its cabling system
is clean and elegant, blending seamlessly into the color and lines
of the host 1525L touchmonitor. And check out the interactive 3D
image with options to zoom, rotate, pan, and measure.

New
Elo Four-Wire Resistive Touchscreens
Elo is proud
to announce the addition of four-wire
resistive touchscreens to its existing AccuTouch five-wire resistive
product line. These new AT4 touchscreens are optimized to meet the
demanding customer requirements for smaller size applications. They
are supported by the new 2215 mini serial controller and the COACh
IIs chip to take full advantage of Elo's SmartSet protocol
and drivers, plus they are compatible with microprocessors with
embedded 4-wire interface.

New
18" Chassis LCD Touchmonitor for Easy Integration
Elo
has added new 18" front-mount LCDs to its growing family of
Entuitive chassis touchmonitors. Features of the 1847L
touchmonitor include a 18.1" diagonal, 170° x 170°
viewing angle panel, digital video input, waterproof touchscreen-to-bezel
seal, and power and agency approvals for sale worldwide. Our chassis
models which range from 12" to 18" have fixed dimensions
and mounting points to insulate you from the unpredictable changes
to LCD panels. Non-touch models are also available.

Elo's
CarrollTouch Infrared Line Now Offers 15" and 17" Low-Profile
Extended-Resolution Touchscreens in Three Standard Filter Offerings
Elo's family
of CarrollTouch infrared touchscreens has been extended to include
15"
and 17" low-profile extended-resolution touchscreens in
three standard filter offerings: antiglare acrylic, antiglare glass,
and no filter. These new low-profile touchscreens have a total thickness
of only 7 mm with or without a 3-mm filter, as the bezel has a 3-mm
recess cavity for the filter. The low-profile touchscreens offer
easy integration into mechanical enclosures and greater efficiency
in areas where space is at a premium. These CarrollTouch infrared
touchscreens have High Ambient Light (HAL) circuitry, and a recessed
opto design that dramatically improves the performance of the system
in sunlight. CarrollTouch infrared touchscreens can be sealed to
NEMA4 requirements, preventing water and dirt from penetrating the
display electronics.
