Job Purpose & Responsibilities:

The Central U.S. OEM Sales Manager will be focused on driving OEM sales via a Manufacturer’s Rep network to OEM accounts that use a HMI Interface as part of their design in the geography. The successful incumbent must be able to identify, evaluate and develop sales leads for new products, extensions of existing products and new sales channels. 

They should have a proven track record of sales success as well as the ability to develop and maintain relationships at multiple levels in the customer base to position Elo as a strategic partner to the customer. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for Global Account Management of Key Accounts anchored in the Central US geography.

  • Responsible for Sales Growth and Strategy in the Geography
  • Management of Sales activity of network of Manufacturer’s Reps in the Geography
  • Setting and achieving Sales Budgets and Goals
  • Managing and tracking Business with OEM Partners, which manufacture world wide
  • Coordinate Sales and Business Growth with identified Global Key Accounts
  • Effectively communicate with Manufacturer’s Reps and other sales team members to promote the business needs of the geography to foster growth
  • Identify Key Accounts and develop account plans for penetration and execution
  • Interact with Product Management teams to help guide product and technology roadmaps
  • Participate in trade/product shows, seminars, industry trade organizations, regional sales meetings in order to identify opportunities
  • Collaborate with Marketing on Product MARCOM strategies to effectively promote new and existing products
  • Develop relationships with Man Reps, Distribution and End Customers in the geography
  • Effectively communicate the needs of the Geography within Elo in order to support current business and develop new customers
  • Constantly identify potential new customers and engage within the OEMs space with the goal of closing business
  • Maintain a high level of awareness in regards to industry trends and competitive activity within the Geography
  • Effectively manage an ongoing schedule of new visits, appointments, and overall Geography management
  • Consult with Key partners regarding Marketing events, necessary resources and overall best practices

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or other related field from an accredited institution

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years sales or directly related experience in electronic solutions sales. OEM market preferred
  • MBA is highly preferred
  • Unquestionable ethics and respect for individual dignity
  • Communication skills at all levels (Customers, Sales, Operations and Senior Management), including speaking effectively to large groups, and developing and delivering presentations
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and to influence without direct authority
  • Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics
  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently
  • Ability to develop and execute strategies in support of market segments, customers and products consistent with the overall business plan
  • Ability to influencing the decision making process of key stake holders
  • Strong project management and negotiation skills
  • Proficient computer skills (i.e. SFDC, Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with CRM Tools, such as SFDC and Model N

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift up to OSHA single person lift requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend or walk for prolonged periods of time 
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally unrestricted
